Food as a Love Language
My passion for nutrition began with my family’s love language of food. Growing up in a Southern kitchen all meals were prepared from scratch with recipes handed down through the generations. We learned our family heritage by collaborative participation in meals.
Food as Fuel
As a Division One swimmer, my lense on eating sharpened to fuel performance. I experienced a direct correlation between the quality and quantity of my food intake to speed and endurance in the pool. This opportunity sparked my enthusiasm for a career in a balanced mind, body, and spirit connection in nutrition.
Food as a Connection
As a mother of three young children, I have fully ingrained the importance of eating a rainbow diet. Raising a family has highlighted the importance of forethought in planning, purchasing, and preparing meals to maximize my time and efficiency.
Nourish the Love
As a Registered Dietitian, I am called to educate and empower individuals on wholesome food and drink choices. I motivate clients to achieve a balanced diet to prevent disease, manage symptoms, and/or tap into their optimal nourishment. My passion is discovering root causes of imbalance and create a plan to help stimulate the body to heal itself.
